INSTRUCTOR

TEACHING IS AN INTELLECTUAL EXPERIENCE THAT DEMANDS THE ABILITY TO INVENT, ADAPT, AND CREATE NEW TECHNIQUES AND PROCEDURES TO MEET THE CHANGING DEMANDS OF LEARNERS.

REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLLMENT:

Hold a Cosmetology or Barber License.
Have completed 12 grades of school or equivalent.
Have a valid picture ID and social security card.
Have been licensed for 1 year or more.

REQUIREMENTS FOR PROGRAM COMPLETION:

Students will receive credit only for training physically conducted at a properly licensed school.
Complete 650 clock hours.
Maintain an 80% or higher for all written and practical tests.

The 650 hours of instruction required of applicants for completion of the instructor training course will only be apportioned as follows:

GENERAL: Orientation and Review, Introduction to teaching, Course Outlining, Lesson Planning, Laws and Rules, Record Keeping

PHYSICAL: Assist with Practical and Theory Classes

TUITION COST FOR INSTRUCTOR:

$1000.00 tuition.

CLASS REGISTRATION AND START DATES FOR 2025:

PLEASE BRING YOUR PICTURE ID, SOCIAL SECURITY CARD, AN OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT, AND THE 975.00 KIT FEE FOR REGISTRATION.

Register Jan. 7-9. Classes start Jan. 15.
Register March 25-27. Classes start April 8.
Register July 29-31. Classes start August 12.
Register Sept. 25-27. Classes start Oct. 7.
